Fire Marshal [Level 2]

This Fire Warden / Fire Marshal training course is designed to raise awareness of the dangers associated with fire and provide practical knowledge on how to mitigate and manage fire risks effectively. 

The course covers essential topics, including: 

• Fire Incidents and Legislation: Understanding key legislation related to fire safety in non-domestic premises, construction sites, and other work activities that may involve fire risks. 

• Fire Safety Fundamentals: The basic components of fire, the different stages a fire progresses through, and how fire spreads. 

• Fire Classification and Prevention: The various types of fires and their classifications in the UK, along with strategies to prevent fires from occurring. 

• Firefighting Equipment: The different types of fire extinguishers and their appropriate uses. 

• Risk Assessment and Safety Measures: Conducting fire risk assessments and implementing effective fire safety arrangements in the workplace. 

• Roles and Responsibilities: The key roles and responsibilities of Fire Wardens / Fire Marshals in ensuring fire safety is maintained within their organisation. 

By the end of this course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to effectively manage fire safety in their workplace, ensuring they can respond appropriately in the event of a fire emergency.
